IIT Kanpur has launched a six-month Cyber Commando Training Programme to promote cybersecurity skills development in the country. The program would be residential, and professionals would prepare themselves to take up important roles in safeguarding the nation’s digital infrastructure.

In its efforts toward national security in the digital world, IIT Kanpur has launched the Cyber Commando Training Programme. The six-month residential course training specialized commandos is an important development under the larger project of enhancing preparedness in cybersecurity for the government. The program, in association with the Union Home Ministry and the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), aspires to enhance the cyber training competencies in India to not just adequately enable but also empower its professionals with the necessary skills to counter new cyber threats.
